Rev. Alison Harrington, pastor of Southside Presbyterian Church in Tucson, Arizona, talks about how her children draw her attention to all the beauty around us which we take for granted.
“So much of the time we’re running around, we’re on our phones, checking email, texting and we’re not noticing the way in which the sun is setting over the Saguaro cactus,” says Harrington. “And they’re noticing those things and… they allow you to pause and see what is really beautiful in each and every day.”
