MM #38 – The Best Spiritual Advice – Donny Stevenson

December 17, 2022

Last year I had the pleasure of meeting filmmakers Debra Gonsher Vinik and her husband David Vinik. During our time and work together they told me about some incredible work they were doing which was centered around a lifestyle movement focused  toward gratitude and sharing this message with the world. They called the project Mincha Moment. This simple yet incredible teaching: “Mincha Moment” (MIN-chuh, with the “ch” like in “Bach” or “loch”) refers to a moment in the afternoon – They picked 2:30pm. “It’s the time we’ve been using – when we stop whatever we’re doing, look around and acknowledge to ourselves, how truly grateful we are.”

I couldn’t help but laugh and explained to them how Creator works in the most amazing of ways… sharing with us each, exactly what and who we need and are meant to find.  I had spent the 8-9 years prior to this meeting focusing my own life toward exactly the same principle.  That gratitude as the primary state of grace and balance was exactly where I have tried to live, and that my life had turned dramatically for the positive once I made this internal personal commitment.

Though we had met under specific circumstances, regarding a project totally unrelated to this work or idea, and that we come from entirely different backgrounds (not to mentions coasts of the country), Creator had still found the way to clear our paths toward finding one another and connecting on this shared passion and spiritual teaching.

This beautiful video and it’s message are the result of this shared philosophy!
